Welcome to Movify ("we", "us" or "our"). Movify is a movie listing and details app that retrieves publicly available movie data from The Movie Database (TMDB) via TMDB's public APIs. This Privacy Policy explains what information (if any) we collect, how it's used, and your choices.

1. No Personal Data Collection

Movify does not require user registration or authentication and does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data from users. There is no tracking or analytics implemented that ties usage to an identifiable user.

2. Data Retrieved from TMDB

Movify uses TMDB's API to fetch movie listings, details, images, and related metadata (such as titles, overviews, release dates, cast, and poster art). All movie-related content displayed in the app is provided by TMDB and is subject to TMDB's own terms, attribution rules, and privacy practices.

3. Third-Party Services

Because Movify uses TMDB's services, any data supplied by TMDB is governed by TMDB's policies. We do not integrate advertising SDKs, analytics services that collect personal identifiers, or social logins in the app.

4. Crash Reporting & Error Logs

If you encounter issues and voluntarily send us a crash report or device log (for debugging), the report may contain non-personal technical information such as device model, OS version, app version, and stack traces. Such reports are used solely to diagnose and fix issues and will not be used for marketing or shared with third parties except when necessary to resolve a technical issue.

5. Children’s Privacy

Movify is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will delete that information.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect any technical information we may receive (such as crash logs) from unauthorized access. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
